Gravity-feed lubricating. -The rollers of pulverizing-apparatus are lubricated by gravity-feed from an oil tank 2, which is connected by a pipe 3 with a box 4 forming a bearing for the upper end of a central shaft 5. Passages in the shaft lead the oil to a lower box 9, made in two parts and fixed to the shaft, and from this box a series of flexible pipes 12 lead to the oil boxes 11 of the rollers 1, the pipes 12 entering the box 9 and the boxes 11 tangentially. The box 4 is closed at its lower end by a stuffing-box 6.
