Abstract

224,800. Henley's Telegraph Works Co., Ltd., W. T., Clements, W. R., and Hoban, H. C. April 8, 1924. Couplings, disconnectible; wire and rod couplings. -The ends of rubber insulated and other cables are sealed by apparatus comprising means for gripping the cable, and means adapted to fit closely around it. The cable end is introduced i n t o an interchangeable gland m which is anrrounded by a flexible rubber r sleeve e n and secured in a holder h by an apertured cover p. The cable is clamped by jaws r on screwing up an internally coned nut t. Specification 188,595, [Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.], is referred to.
