Dust &c., excluding.-A packing ring, particularly for wheel hubs, comprises rings 1<1>, 2<1> in laminated engagement having flanges 1<11>, 2" extending radially outwardly forming a channel for a fibrous ring 4 of felt or the like. The ring 4 extends beyond the edges of the flanges 1<11>, 2". The parts 1<1>, 2<1> which are retained mutually in frictional engagement may be further held together by punching indentations 5 at their juncture.
