6059. Hoffmann Manufacturing Co., and Mair, W. B. March 10. Roller bearings. - A self-contained roller bearing for pulleys, wheels, &c. comprises two trackrings a, b having integral flanges, which in one or both of the rings fit closely to the rollers and maintain them in alinement. As shown in Fig. 3 there is a clearance b<2> between the rollers and the flanges b<1>. The rollers are inserted by displacing the rings eccentrically, and are spaced by a cage.
