Roller bearings.-A self - contained roller bearing comprises two or more rows of rollers arranged in staggered form in a common cage between two race rings, one of which has integral side flanges to retain the rollers in place. As shown, the inner race o. is formed with flanges g to retain the rollers e. Each roller may consist of a number of sections arranged side by side. The cage c may consist of a solid ring drilled with a number of recesses for the rollers, or may be formed from pressed or stamped steel &c. Side rings f are riveted to the cage.
