Roller bearings.-A roller bearing for vehicle wheels &c. comprises a number of long rollers 8 bearing at their ends on tracks 4, 5 and spaced by a relatively long central cage 9. To reduce friction, the holes in the cage are elongated radially as shown in Fig 2, so as to bear against the rollers at the points 10, 11 only. A split ring 13 engages grooves 12 in the rollers to guide them laterally.
