222,828. Pedersen, D. C. Oct. 4, 1923, [Convention date]. Wind-screens.-The windows a, b of a convertible passenger car are adapted, when the car is open, to be used as a rear wind-screen. Each window is pivoted at one corner to the corresponding door by a universal joint consisting of two sockets at right-angles pivoted to a rightangled rod and at an opposite corner has a pin k adapted to engage a recess in the door or in a support m behind the back seat as shown in Fig. 2. The window pivot may consist of a socket on the window slidably pivoted to a vertical pin.
