Abstract

Saddles. - A spring-supported seat or saddle comprises upper and lower frames b, h connected by crossed and pivoted members d, f, the upper ends, and also the lower ends, of which are connected by extensible springs o. The members d, f may be detachably connected to the springs o through the medium of hooks L on slides m, and the seat may be folded after disengagement of these parts. A bolt p, passing through a cross-bar i secures the seat to the floor. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), a modification is mentioned in which transverse axles connect the ends of the members d and the members f, and carry rollers running on guides on the frames b, h, the members d, f being connected to the springs by hooks pivoted on horizontal axes. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
