Abstract
220,947. Navet, R. Aug. 23, 1923, [Convention date]. Addition to 211,502. Stationary-mould machines.-In the machine described in the parent Specification, a series of rollers 7, arranged with suitable clearance between two angle-pieces 6 secured to the pressing beam 4, are positioned between the pressing beam 4 and the extension 1 of the piston, a plate 8 made of softer metal than the rollers, piston, and beam being placed upon said rollers to support the piston. The plate 8, which receives a longitudinal movement in addition to its vertical one, is provided with angle-pieces or flat bars 9 attached to its rims to limit said longitudinal movement, and the plate is moved back to its initial position by means of a lever, spring, &c.
