Crushers with vibrating jazus.-In crushers comprising fixed and movable jaws. the latter formed in two parts one above the other, the upper jaw a is pivoted on a spindle k at the top, while the lower jaw b is pivoted on a spindle mat the bottom. The spindle k is mounted for adjustment in a slide c working in slots l; the lower spindle is similarly mounted. The faces of the lower fixed and movable jaws may be slightly convex about a horizontal axis. The operating mechanism comprises pressure plates k, y, applied at the lower and upper ends of the jaws a and b respectively, and actuated, in the form shown, by eccentrics on a shaft s.
