Abstract

241,117. Buddenberg, G. May 11, 1925. Presses.-In a veneer press of the kind described in Specification 224,456, the parts 1, 2 of the presing beam are moved towards the supporting beam 3, 4 by transverse pressure members 5, and eccentrics on a shaft 9. Horizontal movement of the parts 2, 4 is obtained by eccentrics on a shaft 13, which also serves to operate stops 17, 18. Interengaging teeth are provided on the members of the pressing beam and preferably also on the members of the supporting beam.
