Tyre attachments to rims.-To convert a straight-sided rim for use with beaded-edge tyres, the rim b (which is of the collapsable type) is fitted with spaced blocks c formed with projections e, Fig. 1, n, Fig. 7, or q, Fig. 12, for interlocking with the halves f of the beaded-edge rim. The facing edges of the rim-halves f may be formed with inward flanges with gaps to receive the blocks c, or with undercut notches to receive the dovetail ends of the projections r on blocks q of the kind shown in Fig. 12.
