Abstract
6594. Seward, P. G. March 16. Block tyres. - The type comprises resilient sections 8 having tongue and groove connexions and each having an opening 11 of the shape shown in Figs. 3 and 5. The sections are formed with beads 17 to engage a ring 7 detachably mounted on the wheel rim 1 which is provided with the usual flanges 2, 3 for engaging the exterior beads 22, 23 on the tyre sections. The sections are arranged diagonally across the tread.
