217,710. Catlin, G. G., and Preen, A. April 28, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Rigid-jaw wrenches; jaw faces.-In rigid-jaw spanners of the type having one jaw 4 of normal length and the other jaw 5 of about half the normal length, the end 6 of the short jaw 5 is rounded off so as to slip more easily over the corners of a nut when turned in one direction, and the face of the same jaw is undercut so as to provide a better grip on the nut when turned in the other direction.
