216,614. Mills, F., and Mills, A. E. March 21, 1923. Fastenings for sliding windows; sliding bolts; locks, square-key. - The sashes of sliding windows are held in any position by spring- pressed sliding bolts 7 mounted in a casing 10 in the window frame and engaging sockets 2 in the side rails of the sashes. The bolts are released by a removable key engaging a square end 14 on a spindle 11 mounted in brackets 13, the spindle having bits 12 to engage upstanding projections 9<a> on sleeves 9 secured to the bolts.. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 3518/79, 6543/89, 10114/03, and 12835/13.
