Buckets; double-acting bucket pumps; valves, arrangement of.-The inlet valves m and bucket valves k are of the same diameter as the parts in which they work, and have peripheral gaps for the passage of the fluid. The inlet valves seat on the jointing packing n of the end covers. The bucket is actuated by a rocking lever f engaging a slot in a rod g on the ends of which the bucket valves are mounted. The buckets i are carried on castings h slidably mounted on the rod g and provided with slots r for the passage of the fluid.
