Abstract

216,355. Calkins, J. M. June 13, 1923. Reversible and adjustable handles; locking catches for socket fixings. - A toothbrush set comprises brush elements 6, 7, 8, each recessed to receive a projecting portion of a spring 13, which is secured to a handle 11 and is provided with a projection 15 for engagement with a corresponding depression in the recessed portion of the element. The spring is bent laterally at 16 so that it may be manually depressed to detach the handle. The brush elements mav each be provided with two recesses so that they may be supported in alignment with the handle or transversely thereto. The handle is preferably of composition capable of being moulded in which case the spring 13 is embedded therein during the moulding process.
