Single-type composing and casting machines; matrices.-In a die-case equipment, the matrices are supported by a series of parallel bars B, Fig. 6, having approximately semicircular recesses B', and the matrices A, Fig. 7, have circular grooves A<1> to receive the bars. The ends of the bars B are supported in grooves in bars C, C', Fig. 3, which are suspended within the die-case D. The bars C, C<1> are held in position by a cover-plate E, which slides under catches D<3>, D'.
