Abstract

Atmospheric gas burners; burners, mounting; burners, applications of.-A hollow body 1 provided with a hinged cover 3 secured by a rotatable catch 30, 31, is heated by a gas burner 24' supplied through a bent pipe 10 secured to the rear wall of the iron by a resilient flange 13. The gas is led in through a tube 24 and screwdown valve 22 and air is admitted through holes in the pipe 10 controlled by a perforated collar 15. The burner is covered by gauze 26 held in place by a frame 28 attached by a screw 27.
