[Class .81 (ii).] A device for enabling the heat and fumes produced by burning the substance known as moxa, to be applied locally to the body, comprises a tube 1 having a closed end 2 in which is an orifice 3 and lateral ventilating openings 4. The stick 7 of moxa is held by clips 11 within an inner tube 5, its end projecting therefrom through an opening 10. The tube 5 is frictionally held by spring parts 6 so that the burning end of the moxa stick is at a suitable distance from the orifice 3.
