Abstract

213,485. Hall, E. C. July 9, 1923. Keyboards; keys.-The keys are arranged to form a flush surface, preferably undulating, and certain groups of keys are formed with fingerguiding grooves. Keys 21 of rhombic or square form are arranged with the side faces almost in contact, and the tops flush, the diagonal rows of keys for the middle and third fingers being formed with continuous finger-guiding grooves 13, 14 and 15, 16 respectively. The surface of the keyboard may be arched at the middle 17, and sides 18, 19, to facilitate operation of the keys in these parts of the keyboard. The keys have depressions 20 for receiving the fingers.
