Chair keys. - Two-way keys D engaging only the rail base A and chair B have an axis of symmetry P P1 which does not pass through the rail and makes with the bed of the chair C an angle less than a right angle on the rail side. The plane of symmetry may be parallel with or divergent to the rail. The rail grooves G, G1 may be so formed that one side or part of a side engages the rail base before the other side, or the remaining part of the side. The key may contact with the bed of the chair, while part of the key may have to be removed to prevent fouling the chair. For lightness, the key may be ribbed or corrugated.
