Abstract

212,408. Davis, B. March 7, 1923. Flue pipes.-The flue pipe A of a geyser or gas water-boiler terminates at its lower end in a conical hood B within which is supported, by straps D, a flat baffle-plate C. The plate C is arranged about three inches above, and is slightly larger than, the fume outlet of the geyser and serves to prevent any downdraught in the flue pipe A from entering the geyser. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 11079/94, [Class 126, Stoves &c.]. and 106,696.
