Abstract
211,451. Lorenz Akt.-Ges., C. Feb. 17, 1923, [Convention date]. Speed. maintaining systems. - Constant speed regulation of a motor driving a gener ator in a converter set is obtained by causing a centrifugal contact device k to vary the field of an auxiliary dynamo d which varies the field of the motor m in an augmented ratio. The auxiliary dynamo may be separately driven, as shown, or may be coupled to the main motor shaft. The invention is applicable both to direct-current and to alternating-current motors.
