Abstract

211,076. James, J. H. Aug. 15, 1928. Sliding bolts.-A boll 1 of sheet metal is stamped up to channel shape, the metal at one end 2 closing the channel and at the other end forming a knob 8 The bolt works within guide members 3, the ends of which pass' through slots in an attachment plate 4 and are bent into recesses 5 formed therein. A raised portion 6 of the attachment plate bears against the underside of the bolt and holds it frictionally .against the guides 3, and a raised stop 7 limits the inward movement of the bolt.
