Prizing-tools. - A device for forcing doors shown in Fig. 1 and in working position in Fig. 2, is operated by inserting the fin 11 of the plate 12 between the door B and its jamb A and rocking the lever 22 so that its cam end 21 presses the flange 17 of the sliding plate 15 against the door B. The plate 15 is slotted at 14 to permit sliding in dovetail grooves 16 formed in the plate 12. The flange 17 has pointed projections 18 to bite into the door and prevent slipping.
