Abstract

244,672. Meyer, C. H. July 22, 1925. Draught excluders.-A sliding-bar draught excluder of the kind actuated by a rod 28 and bellcrank levers 23 has recesses 29 formed in the operating rod which receive one arm of each of the bell-crank operating levers. The second arm of each of the levers is connected to recessed guided lugs on the excluder. The excluder consists of a resilient strip 17 in a U-shaped holder housed between spaced plates in a recess in the door. An adjustable screw stop is provided in the jamb for the actuating rod.
