Abstract
209,729. Istas, J. M. V. L. Jan. 9, 1923, [Convention date]. Fluid actuation.-In an electric water-heater the opening of a cock i in the supply pipe e, h causes a piston b in a cylinder a to rise and close a circuit at d<1> to the heating resistances g. The piston b is provided with a small aperture b<2> so that when the cock i is closed, a spring b<3> returns the piston b to its lowest position. The cock i may be situated in the pipe e instead of in the pipe h.
