208,626. Comley, F. Nov. 18, 1922. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Locking nuts. - A nut f is locked to a bolt a by means of a washer c which has a flat side in the central hole which cooperates with a corresponding flat b on the bolt to prevent rotation of the washer. Tongues i on the washer are turned up to engage flats on the nut to lock it. In a modification, the washer is split and a resilient tongue engages radial teeth on the bearing face of the nut. Specification 203,204 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4007/90, 2431/99, 20131/02, 26592/02, 28594/07, 15475/12, and 3846/15.
