Abstract

207,566. Aurig, M., and Br³cklmayr, G. May 30, 1922. Washers. - Comprise a number of rings of oblique vanes each adjacent vane rotating in the same direction within a casing G into which washing liquid is introduced by means of a perforated cone C. Each ring of vanes may be releasably mounted on a ring N independently of the others to facilitate cleaning. Vanes F, F<1> may be provided on the free ends and outside of the disintegrator. Jet tubes may project between the rings of vanes and be so arranged as to inject liquid in the direction of rotation of the disintegrator. In modifications, obliquely or spirally mounted bars or bar-like structures, stamped out cylinders or cones, or a wire network in which all the joints lie to the outside, may be employed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 14483/01 and 109,648.
