206,746. Skill, C. W. F., and Anstey, F. Jan. 11, 1923. Mincing.-A grinding-attachment for a mincing-machine comprises a shaft which is inserted in the barrel in place of the forcing-screw, a bearing-plate 11, which is prevented from rotating by projections 15 and is held in position by the usual screwed ring 12, and a grindstone 17 bolted on to the square end of the shaft. The driving-shaft 4, having a square end 21 which engages a socket 20 on the grindstone shaft, is mounted in bearings separated by fast and loose pulleys, and lubricators 22 are provided.
