Abstract

119,426. Tschanz, G. June 3, 1918. Tools. - Grindstones for pulping wood are dressed by means of a rotary tool with removable resilient prongs d formed as staples. The prongs d are engaged with radial grooves on opposite sides of rings b which are threaded on to a flanged roller a and secured by a ring e. Yielding of the prongs is stated to cause the indentations of the grindstone to have acute-angled cutting- edges h, Fig. 4.
