Body attachments, buoyant.-In a textile lifesaving jacket of the type which opens at the front and has a back and a pair of front compartments 2, 1, Fig. 1, and is also secured on the wearer by draw-strings 4, 5, which adjust the size of the armholes 3, the strings either contract the armholes as shown in Fig. 1, or the top, bottom and one side of the armholes, as shown in Fig. 6. Several other arrangements of strings for the same purpose are described. The strings may pass through the whole width of the jacket, and are secured by stitching at a point 6.
