Abstract

Body coverings.- A waterproof s a c k adapted to cover the head and upper part of the body and shaped to conform somewhat to the contour thereof is provided with stiff framework interposed in the top. As shown, the garment is provided with an observation opening 8 and arm holes 9 and has a top stiffened by strips 12, Fig. 5, which may be folded toother when a bar 16 is turned into line with them. An alternative stiffening comprises two strips pivoted together at their centres. The garment may be made of one or two sheets of silk, waterproof paper or cloth.
