Endless-track vehicles. - Readilyassembled and disconnected endless tracks comprise pivoted links each formed of side plates 12 and a tread plate 13. The side plates have projecting bosses 14<1>, 14 for the reception of pivot pins 11, and the bosses of alternate links are arranged differently, those of the link 12 projecting inwardly and those of the next outwardly. Each side plate has a track rail 17 to provide a bearing on the sprocket, and a plate rail 18 formed with apertured protuberances 20, 21, 22 which register with openings 23, 24, 25 in the tread plates. Dowel pins 26, 27 for positioning the side plates on the tread plate pass through the openings 23, 25 and a bolt 30 passing through the openings 24, 21 secures each side plate to the tread plate. Ledges 31, 32, 33 are formed on three sides of the tread plate and the back 34 of each tread plate is formed so as to overlap the front side of the next plate. V-shaped growers the noses of which are directed rearwardly of the direction of motion when in contact with the ground are attached to the tread plate by the bolts 30. The noses of the grousers are cut away fo avoid pocketing air. In a modification, the tread plates are positioned on the side plates by indented protuberances, instead of by dowel pins.
