987,650. Endless tracks. W. RUF. April 19, 1963 [April 19, 1962], No. 15510/63. Heading B7H. An endless track comprises a series of identical links 1, 1<SP>1</SP> each adjacent pair of which is connected by a pivot pin 2 which is rotatable in replaceable bushes 7 in a series of two or more lugs on one link but is held axially and non- rotatably by a pin 3 in one or more complementary lugs 4 of the other link. The links are provided with rubber treads 10 and holes 11 for ice spikes and rollers 9 are provided on the pivot pins for engagement with the teeth of a track engaging sprocket. Screwdriver slots 8 in the ends of the pivot pins facilitate lining up of the holes 5 of the links with the grooves in the pivot pins for the pins 3.
