Revolving-cylinder pumps.-A revolving drum b has a number of pairs of oppositely radial cylinders c arranged at angles to one another and pistons d reciprocated in the cylinders by eccentrics f<1> on a stationary shaft f. The output may be varied by adjusting the shaft angularly by means of an arm i provided with a locking device j, j<1>À A small relief passage p is provided on the discharge side of the casing to prevent blocking when the shaft f has been moved from the fulldelivery position. The shaft f is supported at one end in the casing a and at the other end in a ball bearing n in the drum, and the eccentric portion f<1> is supported by an intermediate bearing. In a modification, there are four cylinders in each group arranged in opposed pairs at right-angles to each other in the same plane.
