Abstract

An automotive vehicle (110) comprises a forward and transversely mounted power arrangement (115) including a differential assembly (124) which is not located at the center in the transverse direction of a vehicle body (112), the differential assembly being so inclined that a vertical inclination angle ( alpha 1') of a drive shaft (144) relative to the axle (152) of a drive wheel (126) is substantially the same as a vertical inclination angle ( alpha 1) of the other drive shaft (146) relative to the axle (154) of the other drive wheel (128), so that the driveability of the vehicle of such a type is effectively improved. It is stated that the invention claimed is applicable to other types of vehicles, e.g., rear-wheel- drive vehicles. <IMAGE>
