Abstract

An articulated bus comprising a double-axle leading part (1) and single- axle trailing part (2) which is connected to the leading part (1) through a saddle joint (3), a power plant (7) for driving the axle of the trailing part (2), wherein the axle (6) of the trailing part (2) is steered as a function of the angle of turn ( alpha ) between the leading part (1) and the trailing part (2) such that the variation of the steering angle of the axle with the said angle of turn ( alpha ) is selected such that the angle of turn ( alpha ) prevailing in circular travel amounts to no more than substantially two-thirds of the angle of turn resulting if the axle (6), of the trailing part (2) were non-steering. <IMAGE>
