Abstract

In a pump having two interengaged externally lobed contrarotating rotors in a casing the profile of each half of each rotor lobe in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotor consists of an involute curve B and arcs of circles A, C, the pumping efficiency being thereby improved. <IMAGE>
