Abstract

201,330. Lythe, A. June 6, 1922. Ladders. - The main scaffold-support bracket B, of the type described in Specification 159,407, has fixed to it a supplementary scaffold bracket C, which is also supported from the ladder rungs E. The supplementary bracket may be simply clipped to the main bracket, or may have a sliding connection with it so that it can be adjusted to abut against the wall and stiffen the ladder. The ends of both brackets are turned up to prevent the boards from slipping off.
