Abstract

228,430. Armitage, C. W. June 30, 1924. Ladd'ers. - A ladder bracket is formed of side members connected by a platform 12 and bars 11, each side member being formed of two converging bars 1, 2 connected across their divergent ends by a bar 4, and which are both extended beyond their meeting point 3 and are formed one with a backwardly facing hook 6 and the other with a forwardly facing hook 7. The bar with the backwardly facing hook is provided at its other end with a double hook 8, 9, and the arrangement is such that by inversion of the bracket it may be hung from the back of the ladder, as shown in Fig. 3. Two inclined ladders each with brackets and a plank across may be used as scaffolding.
