Staging suspended.-A suspended staging is formed of putlogs compris. ing opposed angle bars 1, 2 with distance bolsters 3 and longitudinal angle-bar connectors 6 at each side, the planking 8 being laid parallel to the putlogs. The girdles 4 for the winches are held between the angle-bars forming the putlogs and intermediate. longitudinal connectors may be employed. The ends of the connectors are bent downwards to form hook connections with the putlogs. The longitudinal connectors of adjacent platforms are connected by fish plates 10 and the arrangement of the planking obviates the overlapping which occurs at the ends when longitudinal planking is used. The longitudinal connectors may be formed in extensible sections.
