Abstract

201,281. Williams, L. W. May 10, 1922. Ground levers for one-way points have a spring- actuated rod 2 provided with an horizontal inclined arm engaged by the hand-lever which has an angular movement to the rod 2. The leavers are adapted for right or left-hand use, and have a handle which is normally either horizontal or vertical, the handle. Fig. 4, being in two parts 17, 18, connected by a hinge pin 19, while a bolt or stud 20 can be used to make the handle rigid and vertical. The operating-rod 2 has an eye at one or both ends for connection to the point-rod 9 and has welded or otherwise secured thereto an inclined arm 10 engaged by the handle 13, which may be detachable. The arm 10 may be separate from the rod 2 and engage a slot or pin in the rod.
