a lever hinged to said plate by its upper end portion and: havin its lower end portion formed to receive a handle, a handle mounted in said lower end of the lever, a retaining arm pivoted to the under face of said plate adjacent to the upper end of the latter, the lower end of said retaining arm extending 7 past the lower end of said plate and carrying floor engaging members for biting engagement with the floor surface adjacent to the door when said plate and said retaining arm are in parallel relation, said handle serving as means for moving said low]? and said retaining arln into parallel relation and for swinging upwardly the said lever and 15 said arm to disengage said retaining arm from engagement with the floor surface.
