Abstract

A suspension device for suspending a mounted agricultural implement (2), e.g. a mower, on a tractor (1), the suspension device comprising a three-point mounting means arranged on the front of the tractor (1) and including links (4) extending forwards in the direction of travel, by means of which links (4) the implement (2) arranged to be articulated on the free end of the links (4) can be moved by the tractor (1) over the ground at a height varying in dependence on irregularities of the ground, the suspension device including a tension spring (11) by which a part of the weight of the mounted implement (2) is transmitted to the tractor (1), and a chain (8) or the like, e.g. a rope or telescopic link, serving to limit the downward movement of the mounted implement (2) relative to the tractor (1), wherein the mounted implement (2) is arranged to be directly articulated on the free ends of the links (4), the chain (8) or the like, arranged above the links (4), serves to connect the mounted implement (2) to the tractor (1), and one end of the tension spring (11) is arranged to act on the mounted implement above the free ends of the links (4). <IMAGE>
