Flexible-band and like files.-In a paper fastener of the type wherein prongs on a base member a are passed through the paper and through slots in a cover-piece b and bent down, the prongs p and the slots k are made at a slight angle and the prongs engage with a turned-over edge e on the cover-piece. Slots are provided in the prongs to facilitate release by the finger nail.
