Flexible-band and like files; clamping-devices. -A fastener for filing papers, of the kind having two flexible prongs 5, or a rigid stem 6 on a base 2, is secured to a backing 3 by a metal disc 1, having prongs 4 which are passed through the backing and bent over the base 2. The disc 1 and the base 2 may be convex to grip the backing securely, and the edges may be bevelled.
