510,068. Loose-leaf binders. JETLEY, J. G. Nov. 22, 1938, No. 33960. [Class 146 (i)] In a letter file, the leaf - spring 20 makes line contact with the member 15 connecting the filing-posts 14. The spring may have a convex part 21 engaging the flats 17, 18 on the member 15, or the spring may have a rounded protuberance to engage corresponding depressions or recesses. The leaf-spring may be replaced by a spring- hinged rigid member. Member 15 is housed in tongues 16 pressed out from the base 12.
