499,615. Fasteners for wristlet bands &c. SCHEUERLE, JUN., A. Feb. 8, 1938, No. 3891. [Class 43] [Also in Group XXV] A fastener for wristlet bands &c. comprising a U-shaped component 3 adjustably fixed to the band 2, e.g. by an L-shaped pivoted clamp 4 bearing on a flexible plate 5, and a tongue 8 pivotally mounted on the other end of the band and having trunnions 10 for engaging the component 3 with which it fastens by a spring grip, is characterized in that the trunnions 10 engage in slots 7 cut in the top edges of the side limbs of the component 3, and the tongue 8 engages the resilient side limbs, furnished preferably with internal projections, by a snap action.
